Conducted Sports Survey #1 [December 2024], Met with the Minister for Sport [May 2025], Obtained Land Use Rezoning for 28 acres under the 2024/2030 Donegal Town Local Area plan [May 2025]

Table One: Sports Clubs who Participated

Clubs were encouraged to circulate the survey to a maximum of three officers within their club, to allow for difference of opinions in terms of requirements for facilities within the clubs.

To date the following clubs have responded:

Figure One: Most Frequently Used Sports Facility

Base: 26 Responses

A point to note on Figure One is that the clubs with the largest membership listed above i.e. 400+ members, specifically referenced Outdoor Playing Facilities, Indoor Gym/Hall and Outdoor track as their most frequently used sports facility. So whilst for example 10 clubs specified outdoor playing field this encompasses over 2170 members.
