Have Your Say: Shaping the Future of a Public Park for Donegal Town

Northwestern Development Partnership (NWDP) has launched a new community survey to gather public feedback on the possibility of creating a future public park for Donegal Town.
At present, the town does not have a dedicated public park, and this survey is an important first step in understanding what residents would like to see — and whether a park is something the community feels would add value to local life.
The survey asks simple, quick questions about:
how often people currently use outdoor spaces
what types of amenities or features would matter most
whether access to walking and cycling routes is important
any concerns or priorities the community wants considered
and, if people wish, a general indication of where a park could be located
There are no confirmed plans or designated sites at this stage. The purpose of the survey is purely exploratory — to listen, learn, and ensure that community voices guide any future conversations. Responses will help shape early thinking and support ongoing discussions with local stakeholders.
The survey takes just a few minutes to complete and is open to anyone who lives in, works in, or regularly spends time in Donegal Town. Every response counts, and all feedback will remain confidential.
